As part of being a facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Burres frequently does eyelid surgery. Wrinkles can be erased using microdermabrasion, chemical peals, Botox injections, or laser resurfacing. if there is excess loose skin, this may be required to be removed by small surgical procedures. Bags beneath the eyes may be eliminated often without an external incision. its skin must be removed then an incision must be made into the skin for it to be taken out. Eyelid incisions usually heal extremely well with minimal scarring. these incisions may be made with a laser or standard techniques. Typically, pain and bruising are minor after these procedures and recovery is fast. The vast majority of these procedures are very simple and often done with only local anesthesia. Occasionally, light sedation is helpful to minimize anxiety. Dr. Burres has performed thousands of eyelid surgerrover the past fifteen years.
