Our office offers a variety of procedures for lip enhancement. Besides the injection of liquid Collagen that many patients are already familiar with, Dr. Burres has pioneered the placement of solid human collagen in the lips. This material is typically converted to your own collagen and may last permanently.The placement of these materials requires a minor surgical procedure that takes about ten minutes and typically there is a few days of swelling and bruising after the procedure. Both materials may last indefinitely, although the degree of reabsorption of these materials may vary.
