Dr. Burres has been doing nose surgery for almost 20 years. He has done thousands of surgical procedures as well as publishing articles in medical journals on nose surgery and and given lectures to other doctors. Dr. Burres is board certified by three boards for committed to excellence in nasal surgery; these are the American board of ear, nose, and throat surgery; the American academy of facial plastic surgery; and the American board of cosmetic surgery.

We offer two types of consultations regarding nose surgery. There is a free cosmetic consultation available, as well as a medical consultation. The free cosmetic consultation typically consists of examining the outside features of the nose, discussing the surgical options, discussing our facilities and costs, and reviewing the routine process of the operation and recovery. Before and after pictures are available for the patient's examination and occasionally we perform computer imaging. The second type of consultation is the medical consultation, in which a full media history and physical examination are performed that includes an internal evaluation of the nose, the breathing passage, and the related structures. Medical problems related to the nose and sinuses include headaches, pressure, nasal obstruction, post nasal drip, ear plugging, migraines, nose bleeds, and nasal drainge, as well as nasal fractures. Therefore these would be typical problems covered by insurance plans. All options for further medical and surgical treatments are explained at this consultation.
